I remember making this photograph in the fall of 2012 or so. I was driving up in the morning to see a love interest in the Bay Area. I always enjoy getting up early in the morning and driving. I had my coffee, good music, and an uncrowded highway with beautiful rolling hills. For me it is a way of clearing my head of “work thoughts” and letting my mind drift to a podcast or great music. On this morning I happened to see an interesting cloud formation so I pulled over to the side of the road and made this photograph. I have a nice print hanging in my home.
